Welcome to the 2013 season.  Let me first say I am honored and privileged to hold the office of President of Novato Babe Ruth.  It is a great responsibility, which I do not take lightly, and will work to improve an already outstanding league.

Novato Babe Ruth provides a framework for youth to develop and refine their baseball skills within a team oriented environment.  The program stresses continuity in age grouping, competition at equal levels of ability, and teaching the complete game of baseball while maintaining an emphasis on sportsmanship, integrity, self-confidence and respect. 

I would like to introduce and thank our sponsors listed throughout the program book and our outstanding Board of Directors including Trinidad Garcia (Vice President), Laura Morales (Treasurer), Alison Couacaud (Registrar/Player Agent), Debbie Butler (Secretary), Pete Wood (Equipment Manager), Pam Wycliffe  (Communications), Nathan Boyd (Fundraising), Robert DeFilippis (Field Coordinator), Karen Hamilton Borgo and Inga Petersen (Snack Shack).  Please remember we are all volunteers.  We require good sportsmanship from all involved in practices and games including parents, coaches, players and directors.  Please help by showing respect to all involved in the game.  Your help as a volunteer is always needed and appreciated.  If you would like to get involved please contact me.

The Novato Babe Ruth Board continues to evaluate our League to ensure that all players have the greatest opportunity to develop their skill level.
